Dr. Kimberly Nix, a courageous Canadian physician who documented her battle with metastatic sarcoma on Instagram and TikTok, has passed away — three years after her diagnosis.
She was just 28 when she was first diagnosed, during her final year of medical residency.
Her final video, shared on May 8, was a heartfelt 9-minute reflection. As she got ready for the day, she spoke about love, gratitude, and the life she was proud to live.
“The only sadness I carry is not growing old with my husband,” she said.
“I had a beautiful life. I’m so proud of it.”
She also encouraged donations to the Sarcoma Alliance, continuing her legacy of advocacy even in her final days.
