Fans were distracted by a surprising detail in Karoline Leavitt’s sweet family photos at the White House.
On Tuesday, Leavitt, the White House press secretary, was joined by her husband, Nicholas Riccio, and their eight-month-old son, Niko, for a visit.
She shared the moment on Instagram with the caption, “Visiting mama at work,” showing her smiling alongside Riccio—dressed in a navy striped suit—while holding Niko, who wore the same baby blue suit she had donned for that day’s press briefing.
In an Instagram Story, Leavitt held Niko behind a desk, writing, “My sweet sweet boy.” In the photo, sharp-eyed fans noticed notes pinned to a bulletin board in the background.
Two handwritten messages read, “You are brave and strong,” and “Slay the briefing day away!”—seemingly written on White House stationery.
Also catching attention: Niko wore only one sock in the pictures, prompting playful comments. The post comes just weeks after Leavitt shared wedding photos with Riccio, who is 32 years her senior.
