A member of Kimmel’s team, speaking off the record, said that even a public apology may not be enough to bring the show back. Meanwhile, FCC Chair Brendan Carr stated he’s considering a formal review of Kimmel’s statements. The backlash intensified after officials confirmed the suspect held far-left views and no known connection to the MAGA movement.
