“Mistaken Identity”: Grandmother Defends Grandson After FBI Arrest in Charlie Kirk Case

Following the tragic shooting of Charlie Kirk during a speech at Utah Valley University, the FBI apprehended 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, accusing him of orchestrating the attack from a nearby rooftop. However, Robinson’s grandmother has stepped forward, asserting that the authorities have made a grave error. She describes Tyler as a “shy, quiet young man” who has never owned a firearm nor engaged in political discussions.

Her defense starkly contrasts with the evidence presented by investigators, which reportedly includes Discord messages, surveillance videos, and tips from Robinson’s own relatives implicating him. As prosecutors move forward with charges, the case continues to divide public opinion—caught between law enforcement’s assertions and a grandmother’s steadfast conviction in her grandson’s innocence.
