🚨 Tragedy on the Florida Turnpike — What Went Wrong?

On Tuesday, August 12, 2024, a routine drive turned deadly after a tractor-trailer made a reckless, illegal U-turn on the Florida Turnpike near Fort Pierce.

Harjinder Singh, the driver, attempted to cross the median through a lane marked “official use only”—meant strictly for emergency vehicles—with a clear no U-turn sign. His 2024 International tractor-trailer blocked the northbound lanes, directly in the path of an oncoming 2015 Chrysler Town & Country minivan.

Dashcam footage captured the terrifying moment the minivan slammed into the semi-truck, becoming wedged underneath. The crash claimed three lives: two passengers died instantly at the scene, and the minivan’s driver, a 30-year-old Florida City man, passed away later in hospital.

Singh, identified as an undocumented migrant, was arrested and charged with homicide.

Comments flooded online, many shocked by how unfazed Singh appeared after the crash.

This tragic event is a stark reminder of how one illegal decision can have devastating consequences.

Our thoughts are with the families of the victims.
