Stolen Car Suspect Pulls Off the Unthinkable During 100mph Police Chase Through LA

You truly can’t make this stuff up.

Late Friday night, Los Angeles officers were locked in a high-speed pursuit that could’ve been ripped straight from an action movie — and just when it couldn’t get any crazier, the driver pulled into a gas station… and started fueling up.

It all kicked off around 10 p.m. in the Wilshire neighborhood when officers spotted a stolen dark blue Infiniti sedan. Instead of stopping, the suspect hit the gas — reaching speeds of 100mph, weaving between cars, and tearing down freeway shoulders like a scene out of Fast & Furious.

Then, in a move that stunned even veteran officers, the suspect calmly exited the freeway and pulled into a Shell station in Lynwood. With helicopters circling and patrol cars closing in, he got out and began pumping gas as if he wasn’t in the middle of a televised pursuit.

At one point, he glanced up at the news chopper and covered his face — seemingly aware that the entire city was watching in real time.

Wild Finish to a Wild Night

Just minutes later, the chase came to a dramatic end under the 10 Freeway near LA’s Fashion District. The suspect lost control and slammed into a light pole — but the chaos didn’t stop there.

By the time police arrived, the car was wrecked… and the driver had vanished. He escaped on foot, disappearing into the night before law enforcement or news crews could catch him.

As of now, the suspect remains at large — and yes, this all really happened.
