Liam Neeson’s Late Wife’s Closest Friend Speaks Out! He Against It? Sixteen years after losing his beloved wife, Liam Neeson is finally smiling again – and the woman behind his happiness is Pamela Anderson.

Liam Neeson’s growing romance with Pamela Anderson has quietly earned the approval of those closest to his late wife, Natasha Richardson — including one very influential voice: Andy Cohen.

The Bravo host, who was a close friend of Richardson, shared his thoughts during an appearance on SiriusXM. Reflecting on his connection to Natasha and his admiration for Pamela, Cohen said he and everyone in Richardson’s inner circle are rooting for the new couple. “I, and all of the friends in this circle, are very much stanning whatever this is,” Cohen admitted.

He recalled telling Liam at the Naked Gun premiere: “Pamela is an independent woman, just like Tash was. She loves to cook. She’s got her own life, two sons… this just works.”

Cohen’s endorsement comes 16 years after Richardson tragically passed away following a skiing accident, ending her 15-year marriage to Neeson. Since then, the actor has remained largely single, with his last public relationship ending in 2012.

Now, at 73, Neeson appears to have found a spark again with 58-year-old Pamela. The pair were spotted holding hands during a chat with Cohen at SiriusXM Studios in Manhattan — and their chemistry, both onscreen and off, hasn’t gone unnoticed.

“I had never met Pamela before. We met on set. And we discovered we had a lovely budding chemistry as two actors,” Neeson shared during a recent appearance on the TODAY show. “It was like ‘Ooh, this is nice, let’s not mold this. Let’s just let it breathe.’”

Pamela, who recently received Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations for her role in The Last Showgirl, echoed the sentiment, telling EW, “I think I have a friend forever in Liam. We definitely have a connection that is very sincere, very loving. He’s a good guy.”

Despite her past — five marriages to four men — Pamela seems to be embracing a new chapter. Just this week, she and Liam posed with their blended family: her sons Brandon and Dylan (with Tommy Lee), and Liam’s sons Micheál and Daniel (with Richardson). The smiling group gave off the aura of a unit that’s already clicked.

As the Naked Gun reboot hits theaters this Friday, Pamela and Liam star opposite each other as nightclub singer Beth and Lieutenant Frank Drebin Jr., continuing the slapstick legacy of the beloved original series.

For now, the couple aren’t labeling anything, but it’s clear they’re enjoying each other’s company — and perhaps, healing in the process.
